A crowd estimated at almost four hundred people – including a hundred or so board riders – congregated on Port Willunga Beach last Saturday (November 23rd) to take part in a nation-wide day of action against proposed Oil Exploration and Drilling in the Great Australian Bight.

With 56 actions from Kalbarri, WA to Bondi Beach in Sydney, these events are a display of the movement’s indomitable strength.

On November 29th, Norwegian-owned oil-giant Equinor’s, who wish to drill for oil in the deep waters of the Great Australian Bight, will hand in more information to the regulatory body NOPSEMA again and for a third time, NOPSEMA will have to review their information.
