Representing Aldinga Bay Residents Since 1977

ABRA, a community-driven organization established in 1977, is dedicated to representing the interests of Aldinga Bay residents. Our mission is to foster a vibrant and sustainable community by raising awareness of local issues, driving positive change through community initiatives, and collaborating with other organizations. We strive to empower residents to participate in the maintenance and improvement of our shared spaces, ensuring a thriving future for Aldinga Bay.

Our membership is open to residents of Aldinga, Aldinga Beach, Sellicks Beach, Port Willunga, and the surrounding region. Annual membership fees are $10 for individuals and $5 for concessions. Membership provides the right to vote and participate in committee activities.

Our Mission
  • Raise awareness: Keep residents informed about issues affecting our community, including physical, environmental, social, and cultural matters.
  • Drive change: Initiate community responses, policies, and research to address the needs of our area.
  • Review government actions: Scrutinize proposals and policies from local, state, and federal governments, as well as public, private, and statutory authorities, that may impact our community.
  • Collaborate: Partner with other organizations and individuals sharing our goals to strengthen our impact.
  • Encourage community involvement: Empower residents to participate in the maintenance and improvement of our local amenities.
  • Give back: As a not-for-profit organization, we reinvest any surplus funds into community projects and amenities.
